Job Description:A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Jun J. Yang Lab to study genomics and pharmacogenomics of childhood leukemia. Using state-of-the-art molecular profiling tools (e.g., single cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics), we are interested in identifying both inherited and tumor genetic variations related to leukemia treatment response and toxicity. Functional and mechanistic studies utilizing preclinical models and clinical samples are critical components of the highly translational research program in this laboratory.We are seeking ambitious postdoctoral fellows with a track record of productivity and strong interest in translational cancer research. Applicants should have a recent doctoral degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or combined degrees). With a general background in pharmacology and genomics, the ideal candidate would be familiar with leukemia modeling and anti-leukemic drug evaluation in vitro and in vivo.St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
