You will have the opportunity to work on above and below water structural inspections. You will coordinate and/or assist in field operations. You will be responsible for assisting in the inspection of existing structures in order to determine their physical condition, maintenance needs and potential hazards. Travel will be expected. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs inspection/field work.
If applicable, conducts underwater inspections of existing structures.
Ensures equipment is maintained and in proper location.
Knowledgeable of construction and inspection practices
Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering documents.
Assists in the completions of reports.
Knows how to perform his/her duties safely.
QualificationsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years of inspection experience. Majority of time in spent in the field and could involve working weekends and overnight.
Underwater inspection experience for bridges or other waterfront facilities, if applicable
