- Handle accounts receivable: customer account reconciliation, cash application, posting daily receipts, researching and resolving deductions, and performing AR aging analysis with follow-up calls on past due invoices.
- Collaborate closely with sales on collections, chargebacks, and credit issues to resolve customer accounts.
- Support accounts payable, inventory management, and budget preparation; work cross-functionally with AP to ensure accurate financial processes.
- Partner with purchasing during the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and reporting.
- Process credit requests, including checking references and analyzing DNB information.
- Assist with audits, including bank and 401(k) plan audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Work with Controller on month-end processes to produce timely financial reports.
- Audit and reconcile accounts to the general ledger.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and ensuring internal compliance.
- Provide light supervision and support to administrative staff as needed.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Advanced computer proficiency, including Excel spreadsheets and accounting software; experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with ADP or other HCM/payroll systems preferred.
- Must be deadline-driven and flexible to adapt to changing priorities and tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance, punctuality, and focus at the workstation.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, or finance support roles.
- ADP experience required; familiarity with Macola ERP, WASES, Paycom, or other ERP/MRP systems a plus.
- Associate degree in Accounting preferred; High School Diploma with equivalent experience accepted.
- Knowledge of auditing processes and 401(k) plan requirements preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Reports directly to the Controller.
- Close collaboration with sales, purchasing, accounts payable, and operations teams.
- On-site position in a dynamic manufacturing environment (moderate noise).
- Primarily desk-based, with occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs) and stair use.
- Salary: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience.
