
Nutritional Product Owner

- Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product strategy for your category
- Leverage market insights, competitive analysis, and consumer trends to identify growth opportunities and differentiate our offerings
- Collaborate with R&D, formulation experts, and scientists to create a product roadmap aligned with the overall category strategy
- Prioritize initiatives, features, and product enhancements based on market demand, technical feasibility, and business goals, including gaps in portfolio for product upgrades as well as discontinuations
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of the category of products, from ideation and development to launch and post-launch analysis and continuously monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize products and ensure they meet customer needs
- Drive a cross-functional team comprised of marketing, sales, R&D, design, and operations to ensure successful product launches, product performance, and seamless operational execution
- Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends in the nutritional supplement industry and translate insights into actionable product features and improvements
- Monitor competitors' product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning and use insights to recommend strategies that enhance our competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to define product specifications, formulations, and features and ensure products are developed within budget and timelines while meeting quality standards
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product launches and analyze data and user feedback to iterate on product improvements and inform future roadmap decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, preferably within the consumer goods, healthcare, or nutritional supplement industry
- Strong understanding of the nutritional landscape, consumer preferences, and regulatory considerations
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision making
- Data-driven mindset, comfortable using analytics to inform decisions
- Passion for health, wellness, and making a positive impact on customer’s lives
- Experience of knowledge of direct sales industry and the research and development of nutritional products
