This position is essential for maintaining the well-being of our patients and supporting their daily activities within our skilled nursing facilities.Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff.
  • Provide catheter care and support for residents with specific medical needs.
  • Support residents with dementia through compassionate engagement and assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents at all times.
  • Assist in mobility and positioning of residents to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to patient care.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
  • Compassionate approach towards caregiving, especially for individuals with dementia.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Basic understanding of emergency procedures is beneficial but not required.
