TAMIU is a growing university of over 8,000 students located in Laredo, Texas, a vibrant bilingual and bicultural city with a population of about 250,000. The RELLIS campus is a collaborative ecosystem built to foster advanced research, technology development, testing and evaluation, higher education, and hands-on career training. For more information, visitThis is a full-time faculty non-tenure track position. Primary duties will include a 5/5 teaching load, teaching required upper-level courses, and electives in Digital and Strategic Communication, as well as student advising. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on the RELLIS campus and in the workplace. Virtual meetings may be required at TAMIU. This is a three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.Required Qualifications:The successful candidate must hold a Master of Arts or a higher degree in communication or related fields. Experience teaching Communication as Instructor of Record is desired.We offer competitive salaries and a benefits package including health insurance, retirement benefits, and life insurance.
