requirements of Engineering drawings, Engineering Change Notices, Release Control Summaries, Wire List, Wiring Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Time Compliance
Technical Orders (TCTOs), Customer driven Program Change Request, Engineering Change Proposals etc., to correctly determine which parts in a particular system/subsystem, and/or component assembly are required to shown in a country specific Illustrated parts Breakdown (IPB) Technical Order. Use the compiled source data to make the correct inputs to the Lockheed Martin authoring systems (i.e. Mainframe, Aeronautics Integrated Parts Data System, Interleaf) to create or modify appropriate IPB Technical Manuals in support of the F-16 Program.
- Obtain a passing score on the assessment test.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawing.
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience with operating general software systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with engineering databases.
- General knowledge of aircraft
- Twelve (12) months of working experience and/or training in Aircraft Maintenance
- Technical Trade School training in Aircraft Maintenance
- Familiarity with military specifications
- Technical writing experience
- Previous experience in development and maintenance of Illustrated Parts Breakdown.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Previous experience using database systems such as Aeronautics Integrated Parts Data System (AIPDS) or Interleaf to create or modify IPB Manuals are a plus
- A working knowledge of the Maintenance Integrated Data Access System (MIDAS) and the Air Force Technical Order System is also desired.
- The ability to use Lockheed Martin authoring systems
