- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and paperwork processing.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs and handling employee inquiries regarding benefits and policies.
- Support HR initiatives such as training programs, performance evaluations, and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Handle confidential HR-related matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Reconcile financial statements and assist in preparing financial reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with accounting principles.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Support audit and tax preparation processes by providing relevant documentation and assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with the Office Manager and Accounting team to resolve any discrepancies or issues in financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct visitors as appropriate.
- Assist in organizing meetings, events, and training sessions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of office space.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
