Production Lead 1st and 2nd shift- ManufacturingPrincipal Manufacturing is seeking a Production Lead to join our team in Broadview, IL. As a leader in fineblanking, conventional stamping and plastic injection molding, Principal Manufacturing sets itself above the competition.The Production Lead will oversee and direct activities of team members within the valve cell and other machining departments. Responsibilities include training and development of staff, ensuring proper safety precautions are being taken, and meeting production requirements and schedulesMajor Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals. Make necessary adjustments to ensure production schedule is being met.
  • Responsible for following Lean Manufacturing Concepts and safety policies.
  • Oversee the training and development of team members in regard to safety, machine operation and company procedures.
  • Work with other departments to improve operating procedures while maintaining their individual production requirements.
  • Maintain and efficiently perform production assignment/ expectations from Production Supervisor within allotted time period per the production schedule
Required Skill/Knowledge:
  • High School degree or equivalent education/certification
  • Provide real-time information and reports to management.
  • Ability to encourage positive work environment
  • Must have two years' experience as team leader.
  • Computer knowledge
  • Must be Bilingual.
