- Test, investigate failures, troubleshoot, and repair program unique circuit card assemblies
- Perform test activities including writing test procedures, test planning, test conduct and test reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve test issues
- Document and monitor test results
- Analyze and select individual components and materials to meet system requirements
- Identify and interface with suppliers for components and materials
- Interface with the other engineering disciplines and cross functional teams to insure proper coordination of project, product, and system requirements
- Work with external business partners to document and maintain Coordinated Interface requirements and Shipyard Installation Test Program (SITP) requirements
- Work with other engineers to develop installation and checkout procedures for flight test instrumentation and shipboard systems
- Contribute to and present during customer reviews
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
- 4+ years of direct experience as a Test Engineer
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with various testing techniques
- Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, and cabling diagrams
