Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Greater West Structures Deputy Division Lead to lead and manage structural engineering services across the Greater West subarea, which covers 21 states from Ohio west to Utah.This role is ideal for a collaborative and experienced leader who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality transportation solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with bridge group leaders and regional leadership to advance consistent project delivery, team development, business development and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesBelow are key responsibilities of this role. These are considered in addition to other job responsibilities, including leading and supporting projects.
  • Support with overseeing structural engineering services across the Greater West subarea. This includes participating in financial discussions for the division and Gredeveloping plans to meet short-term and long-term goals.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for the growth and success of the Greater West Structures Division, including project delivery, quality, and pursuit of new work.
  • Expand and strengthen the structures division by helping to develop training for staff and helping with hiring efforts for the division.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration by linking staff and capabilities across the region to promote knowledge sharing and workshare opportunities. Help to coordinate and run division meetings.
  • Mentor staff in alignment with AECOM's four pillars of career growth: technical excellence, project delivery, business development, and leadership.
  • Cultivate AECOM's mission and values within the Structures Division, promoting a unified and purpose-driven team culture.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development to build a resilient and high-performing team.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with structures group leadership and regional leadership to align goals and confirm consistent service delivery.
  • Represent AECOM in client meetings, industry events, and professional organizations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to achieve client satisfaction and long-term success.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS + 10 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience managing teams.

  • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $160,000.00.
