Certified Nursing Assistant, Surgical Stepdown, 8 Hours (Evenings)

- Perform a variety of appropriately delegated patient care interventions for patients in the Critical Care department and their families.
- Clinical services could include, but are not limited to: obtaining vital signs, bathing and feeding, dressing wounds, assisting with hygiene, cleaning rooms and linens, and emotional support.
- Perform a variety of environmental and inventory activities to ensure a safe, clean, and appropriately equipped environment for patients, visitors, and staff in the Critical Care dept.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the Critical Care dept., ensuring quality patient/family clinical outcomes.
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- Certification in basic life support (BLS), including CPR certification (must be current or obtained within 30 days of employment)
- Ability to pass clinical competency testing
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- One of the following:
- Previous medical/surgical experience preferred
