- Support the development of agendas for event activations and third-party sponsorship contracts with trade associations, industry conferences, accelerators and incubators. Project manage marketing, social media/digital and communications deliverables with cross functional partners. Track legal and compliance approvals; support sponsorship / event vendor relationships.
- Support pre-event/sponsorship responsibilities, including organizing planning committee materials and notes; build/manage detailed project plans; support development of host/banker and speaker briefing templates; project manage design and email team deliverables team to build event collateral and invitations. Assist with post-event/sponsorship responsibilities, including: organizing materials for debrief calls with partner organizations and the business + organizing data to analyze programs for effectiveness/ROI in partnership with the business and marketing centers of excellence (digital, communications, etc.).
- Track and oversee data inputs to track detailed budgets with ongoing monitoring and reporting. For each program, work closely with VP colleagues and production partners to manage budgets; secure and document required approvals; track spend and document variances; and process invoices.
- Organize data and support the development of scorecards for each program.
- 4+years work experience in marketing/communications, events or sponsorships. Requires travel (25-30% of time) and off-hours projects.
- Excellent project management, time management skills and organizational skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated track record of thriving in fast-paced, matrixed environment with minimal supervision. Team player that is self-motivated, entrepreneurial, effective under pressure and flexible (able to adapt to changing priorities). Excellent relationship management skills - ability to influence and interact with senior executives and business leaders.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal required, including the ability to translate data-driven insights and measurement into actionable next steps.
- Strong desire to creatively problem solve; proven ability to navigate/analyze complex data.
- Proven ability to operate with a sense of personal accountability; strong work ethic; self-starter; high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Excellent/advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Financial service/Commercial banking or management consulting experience; working in a large global organization
- Experience managing event and sponsorships for founders, investors, startups and high-growth companies
