We are committed to making a difference.What we offer:Competitive Starting PayPaid TrainingGlobal Advancement OpportunitiesCompany Vehicle (as applicable)Referral BonusesComprehensive BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Life Insurance401(k) savings plan with company matchShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramAnd More!How you will do itAssist project managers, construction supervisors, field technicians, and sales representatives in the delivery of fire alarm and security projects in commercial, educational, and industrial facilities.Manage scope of work, schedule, and cost with electrical contractors, general contractors, building owners, and end users for assigned projects.Provide superior customer satisfaction through fast-paced coordination and high-volume communication.Prepare and execute weekly and monthly project reporting.Participate in weekly operations and monthly work-in-progress meetings.Develop personal tools to track and monitor projects.Maintain electronic project folder database with required documents as needed.Perform change order management, tracking, and upload in the system.Manage the release, tracking, and expediting of SimplexGrinnell manufactured materials for delivery.Purchase order management, including creation, communication, expediting, and tracking of purchased labor and material.Assist in the scheduling of field technicians, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.Perform billing in the system and assist with accounts receivable and payable as needed.Project closeout coordination and finishing the project in the system in a timely manner.What we look forExperience with Purchase Order Management, Material Returns, Invoicing, Electronic Data Management, and Material Release.Experience Scheduling SubcontractorsOracle-based computer systems.Education:High school Diploma or GED.2 or 4-year business degree preferred.Experience:5 or more years in a high-volume, customer service-oriented position.Skills:Ability to work 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and overtime as required.Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivating.Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft’s suite of Office software including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and databases.Successful background check and drug screen.PreferredExperience in a construction-related industry.Johnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
