- Translate the company’s Vision for Quality into actionable strategies across all levels of the site’s quality organization.
- Drive a culture of quality excellence, customer-centricity, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Operations to ensure quality is integrated into design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
- Lead product Quality Engineering functions across multiple facilities.
- Align the sites quality systems, procedures, and metrics to the divisional / corporate standards.
- Conduct site audits, performance reviews, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Oversee defect reduction initiatives, yield improvement programs, and process control systems (SPC, FMEA, DOE).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, JEDEC, and customer-specific requirements.
- Manage quality aspects of new product introductions (NPI), technology transfers, and supplier quality.
- Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects to improve process capability and reduce variability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in quality practices.
- Promote collaboration between quality, engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams.
- Ensure responses to customer quality notifications meet / exceed our internal and customer requirements for quality and responsiveness.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer-reported issues.
- Prepare for and lead customer audits, regulatory inspections, and third-party certifications.
- Develop and maintain quality dashboards and KPIs for executive reporting.
- Analyze yield, reliability, and field return data to drive strategic improvements.
- Utilize advanced analytics and digital tools to enhance quality visibility and traceability.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, or a related technical field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in quality management within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Expertise implementing Six Sigma, Statistical Process Controls, FMEA, process audits and other proactive quality management practices
- A proven track record of leading and mentoring all levels of an organization through quality transformations.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
- ISO/IATF Lead Auditor
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in QMS platforms, statistical analysis tools, and digital quality systems.
- Compensation: $131,000–$174,500 year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
