Job Description:What You'll DoWe’re looking for an Advisor Care Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner with advisors on plan pricing, investments, plan reviews and more!
  • Help our advisors service their clients by providing consultation and solution based recommendations during each interaction.
  • Build, retain and strengthen advisor relationships resulting in increased assets and new sales.
  • Deliver sensitive communications and handle difficult negotiations in a manner that is favorable to retain client and ensure Principal's interest is represented.
  • Be knowledgeable of our investment philosophy and options
  • Partner with internal resources to research unusual or complex situations.

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 6+ years related experience preferably in qualified plan experience
  • You have extensive knowledge and understanding of plan and contract documents, client investments, processes, procedures and company products and services
  • Ability to coordinate a large volume of client/advisor activities
  • Balance working independently and in a team environment

  • Knowledge of pension/qualified plan regulations
  • Consultative approach and ability to negotiate with strong communication skills
Licenses Needed (strongly preferred to have current licenses):
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 Licenses (or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 5 months required. Must meet firm standards for registration within applicable jurisdictions.
  • Life and Health Insurance Licenses required for all states in which business will be conducted or ability to obtain within 5 months of employment required.
  • You’ll be required to become a non-registered fingerprint person of PSI.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)$54000 - $121200 / yearTime Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
