This is a variable hour or contingent position to aid with vacation and call-in coverage.Main Responsibilities | Activities
- Site entry control
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Performs patrols of the property
- Observes conditions of equipment, grounds, and facilities
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
- Monitors surveillance cameras, fire notification systems, and other monitoring systems
- Coordinates with fire response units for fire suppression
- Evaluates, treats, and stabilizes routine and urgent patients within the scope of practice and standing orders established
- Provides advanced life support or paramedic services to patients when needed
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures including EKG monitor, defibrillator, oxygen, CPR, and other procedures and medications as required.
- Communicates with hospitals and emergency response units to provide emergency care
- Controls transfer of patients to medical facilities
- Perform drug and alcohol testing as required
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Current State of Michigan Paramedic license required
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated effective usage of Microsoft applications

- Identify hazards, unsafe actions, and conditions that could result in damage to property, injury, impacts to the environment, and the community
- Obey any instruction issued to protect their own personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others, protection of the environment and the community.
- Report, as soon as practicable to their Manager any situations where HSEC requirements are not being conformed to within their work area
- Avoid endangerment to any other person through any act or omission
- Only use equipment you are trained to use and operate the equipment in a way that is safe, protects the environment and doesn't cause undue community impacts.
- Participate in HSEC training provided to them
- Report all incidents; including but not limited to injuries, near miss, community interactions and impacts, environmental impacts, spills, unsafe work practices, etc.
