- Identify Improvement Opportunities: Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement utilizing Lean Manufacturing and 8D problem solving methodologies.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrate and coach well-disciplined problem solving skills following 8d and 5 why style problem solving.
- Conduct Training: Provide training and support to team members on problem solving methods, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is fostered across the organization.
- Monitor Performance: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and identify further optimization opportunities.
- Lead Projects: Facilitate cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects and initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery of expected outcomes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to drive decision-making and problem-solving efforts in manufacturing processes.
- Conduct Kaizens: Perform kaizens to facilitate improvement in operations or office level projects focusing on problem solving and closing gaps.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Has 3 + years of experience in manufacturing, with a solid understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations and identify effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., Minitab, Excel) for statistical process control and performance measurement.
- Leadership experience in facilitating process improvement initiatives and mentoring team members.
