From keeping machines running smoothly to supporting big improvement projects, you’ll be part of a team that values your expertise, your ideas, and your commitment to doing the job right.What You’ll Do:As our Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to for keeping our equipment and facility in top shape. You’ll:
- Stay ahead of downtime by performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot like a pro when mechanical or electrical issues pop up, getting equipment back online quickly.
- Get hands-on with motors, bearings, belts, pulleys — installing, aligning, replacing, and fine-tuning them for peak performance.
- Tackle electrical basics like wiring tasks, swapping out lighting fixtures, and replacing electrical components.
- Pitch in plant-wide by supporting 5S, safety practices, and continuous improvement projects that make work better for everyone.
- Keep things documented — accurately recording maintenance work and sharing updates so the team is always in the loop.
- Hands-on know-how — 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Mechanical and electrical basics — you’re comfortable with hand/power tools, mechanical systems, and electrical safety.
- A knack for problem-solving — you can read manuals, diagrams, and schematics to troubleshoot effectively.
- Physical readiness — you can lift up to 50 lbs., work on ladders, and navigate a busy production floor.
- A continuous improvement mindset — familiar with (or excited to learn about) 5S, Kaizen, and Lean practices.
- Prior experience in manufacturing.
- Exposure to electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs) or basic PLC troubleshooting.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work a full-time 1st shift schedule, including overtime or weekend coverage as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.
- Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
- PPE: Wear the required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
- Dexterity and Vision: Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
- Stamina: Stand for long shifts.
- Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.
