- Oversee and prioritize the shipping of customer orders – order entry accuracy, administration, and shipping process
- Unload and inspect inbound shipments and store product in appropriate staging area- ensure all products being delivered are in acceptable condition and meets SureCam quality standards.
- Implement a scalable business process and customer service standards to deliver efficient order processing
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels using systematic procedures and automated inventory system (i.e., Zoho Inventory)
- Work with various departments to help ensure delivery priorities, accuracy, and timelines
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse/store operation that meets SOPs established by SureCam
- Responsible for receiving, provisioning, and testing new devices received from various vendors before deploying
- Manage the RMA process by processing and inspecting returned devices in a timely manner
- Repair devices that are deemed usable. Repairs could include replacing housing, internal components, wiring, etc.
- Build various cabling and components that are necessary for the functionality of the devices or for Product testing
- Work with Product Development team on trouble shooting of devices, software, data consumption, etc.
- Conduct routine audits and inventory counts of all devices, ancillaries, and other items managed by Operations. Address any discrepancies and correct or provide recommendations to appropriate staff for next steps.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of internal reports that are used to manage the business (i.e. inventory levels, shipping metrics, speed to fulfill order, and other KPIs).
- Own relationship with FedEx and UPS on day-to-day activities to run fulfillment department.
- Manage data pool utilization and executing various processes to ensure SureCam stays within established thresholds.
- Work with Trafalgar or other data vendors directly as needed to ensure provisioning and activations are correct
- Manage temporary staff that may be utilized to help in the fulfillment department
- Responsible for demonstrating and teaching device fulfilment during new employee on-boarding- includes training on how the camera works, ancillary kits, and other components as needed
- Oversee the local office responsibilities by controlling access to the suite, elevator, keys/badges, and contact for landlord/maintenance
- Attend and/or lead various meetings with different departments, managers, and executives (i.e. Weekly Fulfillment Update)
- Assist with maintaining the relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Continually look for process improvements and areas to reduce expenses as business is scaling
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed (including workflow documentation, system implementation, etc.)
- 2-5 years of prior warehouse or fulfillment experience
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (Zoho Inventory preferred but not required)
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with teams located globally
- Ability to lift 20-30 pounds.
- Standing and engaging in repetitive movement throughout the day
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Strong attention to detail in meeting customer demands to provide exceptional service
- An ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of business and warehouse operations
