- Pre-commissioning Strategy: Develop and implement pre-commissioning strategies and plans for offshore pipelay projects.
- Scope Management: Oversee the entire pre-commissioning scope of work, ensuring all activities are properly planned, executed, and documented.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that pre-commissioning activities meet industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the pre-commissioning phase and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, subsea installation teams, and clients to align pre-commissioning activities with project schedules.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep technical knowledge in subsea systems, pipelines, and offshore structures to drive efficient pre-commissioning processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of pre-commissioning activities for client and regulatory compliance.
- Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all personnel involved in pre-commissioning activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization in the pre-commissioning phase.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in subsea pre-commissioning for offshore pipelay projects.
- Proven experience in leadership and team management.
- In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations related to subsea pre-commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Safety-conscious mindset with a track record of adhering to safety protocols.
- Professional certifications relevant to subsea engineering and project management are a plus.
- Should be fluent in written & spoken English, but having an understanding of Spanish & Portuguese will be advantageous.
- Experience of working in USGoM, Mexico, Trinidad & Brazil will be a huge plus.
