CNC ProgrammerLocation : Dover, OHJob Type : Full TimeOur client, a leading provider of machining services to the fluid power industry, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for their Dover, OH location. The company specializes in services such as boring, honing, welding, and machining, delivering high-quality solutions to a diverse customer base.Shift:
Days 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through FridayResponsibilities:Interpret complex engineering drawings and create 3D models using SolidWorksProgram CNC milling and turning machines using CAMWorksCreate job setup sheets documenting necessary tooling and fixturingOptimize setups, feeds, speeds, and cutting strategies to improve cycle timesWork with machinists to ensure jobs run smoothly and efficientlyAdjust and debug programs directly at the machine when needed (Primarily FANUC Controls)Participate in quoting new jobs by reviewing prints and estimating machining timeMaintain clean, organized, and well-documented programming files and setup sheetsQualifications Required:2+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience in a machine shop settingProficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks)Proficiency in CAM software (CAMWorks)Solid knowledge of G-code and M-code for common CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas)Experience with job setup, including tooling and fixture selectionStrong understanding of machining best practices, tolerances, and materialsAbility to work independently and troubleshoot issues on the shop floorQualifications Preferred:2+ year Engineering degreeExperience programming and setting up live-tooling machinesExperience with FANUC Guide-IFamiliarity with prototype and small-batch productionAbility to collaborate with quoting and planning teams on job routingKnowledge of lean practices and continuous improvement strategiesBenefits:Medical and Dental insuranceHoliday paySick and Vacation pay401(k) + company match
