This is a full-time, hourly level position.Starting salary range for this position is $22.This position includes a $1,500 sign on bonus ($500 after the completion of a successful 90-day introductory period; $1,000 after the completion of 180 days of continuous employment).Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.Essential Job Functions:
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility's equipment
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Perform machinist duties and responsibilities
- Perform mechanic skills, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities
- Perform a variety of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and industrial cleaning functions
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years' manufacturing experience preferred

- While performing the duties of this job, Maintenance Technicians are frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving parts and vibration.
- During the work shift, the Technician is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb consistently throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and/or move items over 75 (seventy-five) pounds on a frequent basis
- Work on platforms, both guarded and unguarded, that can reach heights greater than 60'
- Specific vision abilities, include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
