Job Title: Process Safety Coordinator Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator and Facilities/Utilities Planner to join our team. In this role, you will manage the site's PSM program in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119, while also planning and scheduling maintenance tasks for the Utilities and Facilities department. This position offers a unique blend of technical planning and regulatory compliance, ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of critical utilities and facilities. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy and decision-making authority, particularly in new areas for the site.Responsibilities
Maintain and manage all PSM documentation and coordinate Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Ensure adherence to OSHA standards for highly hazardous chemicals, such as ammonia.
Collaborate with technicians and leadership to implement safety protocols.
Plan and schedule preventative maintenance and facility upgrades.
Use ERP software to manage work orders and job planning.
Coordinate with Utilities & Facilities Technicians and Manager.
Focus on systems such as chillers, boilers, and HVAC.
Work closely with technicians to ensure successful job execution, maintaining a presence on the floor while primarily working in a desk-based role.
Support continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in Process Safety Management (PSM).
At least 3 years of experience in planning or a strong maintenance background.
Background in maintenance or utilities, such as chillers, boilers, and HVAC systems.
Familiarity with OSHA and EHS standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience managing Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Understanding of working with hazardous chemicals, like ammonia.
Strong knowledge of OSHA Standards for General Industry regulation 29 CFR 1910.119.
Experience using ERP systems for job planning.
