- Conduct data quality assessments to evaluate accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and implement data validation and testing procedures for critical data elements (CDEs).
- Drive data quality improvement initiatives, including profiling and cleansing.
- Support root cause analysis for recurring data issues and implement corrective actions.
- Design and maintain data quality dashboards and exception reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data health and governance activities.Track and report on data governance metrics to management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and technical teams to resolve data issues.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to support data initiatives and drive accountability.
- Build awareness and advocate for data governance best practices across the enterprise.
- Provide operational support for data governance tools and workflows.
- Assist in maintaining metadata repositories, data dictionaries, and lineage documentation.
- Contribute to the development and alignment of data governance standards and policies.
- Leverage DQ tools and automation (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Ataccama) for profiling and remediation.
- Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of governance platforms.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., CCPA, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of data quality processes and findings.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions for business users and data stewards.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or business analysis.
- Experience with data governance and DQ tools (e.g., Informatica DQ, Collibra, Alation, Secoda).
- Solid understanding of data management principles, compliance standards, and root cause analysis techniques.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and data profiling techniques preferred.
