  • Implement the New Jersey Learning Standards in Science and delivery of daily academic instruction;
  • Develop learning activities and use differentiated instruction to address the various types of student learners;
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities;
  • Document and track student performance using various assessments;
  • Utilize technology effectively in daily lessons, including gathering and managing student data as required by the district and school administrator.
Qualifications:New Jersey Certification in K-6 with 5-8 Content Specialization in Science, with a Teacher of Students with Disabilities a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus;
  • Familiarity with the use of instructional technology as well as differentiated instruction;
  • Knowledge of effective/creative instructional strategies;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the Science Department;
  • Knowledge of OpenSciEd and 3D printing a plus.
