Direct Reports: None
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am-4:00pm
Salary: $17.00/hour
Location: 4000 S Racine Ave, Chicago, IL 60609
FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Eligible for OT)
Employment Type: Full time
Position Overview: To complete various inspection and verification related tasks, such as: conducting audits, investigations, inspection, repairs, and filing reports related to the tasks. The goal is to identify, investigate, and inform.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Take leadership and responsibility for determining compliance exceptions based on experience, product knowledge, and historical information.
  • Reject work that does not meet NSA quality standards.
  • Notify management of any non-conformances found with regard to quality, workmanship, and measurements.
  • Offer new ideas (OFI’s) based on your textile education and/or previous work experience.
  • Other tasks, as needed and determined by management to promote awareness, improvement, and organization.
Non-Essential Job Functions:
  • May be reassigned to assist other departments.
Training: Provided on the job
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
Experience: One year of work in a manufacturing facility (similar in size and scope to NSA) preferred.
Skills:
  • Detail-oriented person with strong personal skills.
  • An ability to detect and report non-conformances.
