  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware systems and software.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues and malfunctions with on-premises and remote devices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users and clients, following best practices and internal IT policies.
  • Diagnose hardware issues and open manufacturer tickets as necessary to fix or replace equipment.
  • Assist Helpdesk Leadership, System Administration team and the Director of IT on projects as assigned.
  • Support, maintain, and ensure compliance with software licenses.
  • Participate in software and hardware evaluations.
  • Assist in performing maintenance on enterprise systems as assigned.
  • Document and report computer-related problems and solutions; create technical documentation and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Provide on-site support for conferencing systems for various meetings as needed.
  • Onboard, monitor and enforce compliance with mobile security policies; configure and support Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) initiatives, ensuring secure integration of personal devices into the company’s IT environment.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of internal standards for smartphones, tablets, and other mobile endpoints. Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) protocols to protect corporate data and manage device inventory.
  • Assist with the development and enforcement of Mobile Application Management (MAM) solutions for secure access to business resources and applications.
  • Respond to support requests via our ticketing system for users established remotely or in person.
  • Provide printer (MFP and wide format) and copier support.
  • Maintain inventory of computer equipment and supplies.
  • Follow security policies and procedures to protect data and systems.
  • Travel to remote offices (out-of-state) as scheduled to work on end user systems or assist the administrators with projects at those locations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with Tier 1 IT support and confidential information handling.
  • Experience or familiarity with Tier 2 support.
  • Experience with MDM and MAM platforms and policies is required.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft products (on-premises and cloud), and different SaaS platforms
  • Demonstrated experience with Intune and MS Defender platforms.
  • Ability to lift, handle, and carry computer material or equipment of moderate weight (50 pounds or less). Team lifts for heavier objects if 50 pounds or greater.
  • Physical ability to occasionally push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and climb ladders.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
  • Associate degree in an IT-related field or 3 years of relevant IT Support experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a remote environment using online diagnostic tools.
  • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 2-3 years of experience with Intune MDM and MAM configuration is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing Microsoft Desktop and Server Operating Systems (Microsoft Certifications a plus).
  • Familiarity with Autodesk, Bentley, and other engineering software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and Chocolatey or other scripting tools is desired.
  • Desire and ability to research, learn, and utilize new technologies.
