- Create and maintain LCA methodologies and models, including experimentation of footprint methods.
- Develop documentation and annotations for scaling purposes.
- Conceptualize and interpret innovative methods and standards.
- Perform audits and validations of methodologies or complex models.
- Integrate methods into existing model architectures.
- Design and lead research initiatives, including data collection, modeling, documentation, interpretation, and validation.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply systems thinking.
- Proficiency in scientific methods and international standards such as GHG Protocol and ISO.
- Experience with Ecoinvent, GaBi, and USEEIO databases.
- PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of quantitative field research experience and 1-2 years of related commercial experience.
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams at the intersection of environmental and computer sciences.
- Proficiency in R or Python programming languages.
- Project management experience is advantageous but not required.
- Preference for proficiency in Python over R.
