Join RCI and grow the future with us!INTRODUCTIONRCI is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Landscape and Irrigation Construction team.This position requires the willingness and ability to travel for extended periods of time, working on jobsites in various regions of the US, typically concentrated to the Southeastern states.Candidates should have experience in managing multiple crews on large projects ($500k and up; $1M to $2M preferably). We are looking for someone who has the experience to take these complex projects from start to finish with quality and profit in mind.A complete understanding of the landscape, irrigation and horticulture industry is required to ensure the successful completion of our multimillion dollar projects. RCI uses state of the art equipment as well as the latest water conservation products and operates with “Green” in mind and as such, the selected candidate must have a working knowledge of these products, including but not limited to, two-wire technology and ET-based control systems.CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT DUTIES INCLUDE
  • Having an owner’s mentality and the ability to work successfully and comfortably representing RCI with clients and vendors.
  • Moving projects forward as well as being able to get dirty when needed.
  • Seeing possible issues in advance and making plans to address these issues before they arise.
  • Scheduling multiple crews, arranging deliveries, and ensuring proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Having an eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 - 15 years of experience in both the landscape, irrigation, and horticulture industry.
  • Ability to run construction equipment (Skid Steer, Mini Ex, Backhoe, High Reach Forklift, Vibratory Roller, Trencher, etc.)
  • Know the basics of fertilizer and horticultural chemicals.
  • Knowledge of plants, trees, palms, and shrubs.
  • Complete Knowledge of irrigation, hydraulics, piping, and installation techniques.
  • Know and understand two-wire technology and ET-based control systems.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 75% of the time.
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
  • $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
  • Out of Town pay for remote assignments
