This mission-critical role supports the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B) and plays a key part in advancing naval training and readiness.What You'll DoAs a hands-on technical expert, you'll be the go-to problem solver and system guardian in a secured DoD training facility. Your day-to-day will include:🔧 Responding to trouble tickets and resolving issues directly with system users🖥️ Installing and repairing hardware (servers, switches, workstations, UPS, peripherals)🧠 Managing a centralized server room and Network Operations Center, including inventory and access control🐧 Supporting Linux operations: desktop support, KVM/VM management, IAM, ssh, NFS, iSCSI, NTP, and more🧵 Running and terminating cables, managing server racks, and assisting with classroom/server room setups📊 Aggregating and reporting system status and trouble ticket data🔐 Operating daily inside a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) with limited personal device accessPrimary ResponsibilitiesBe a key member of our Customer On-Site Maintenance Support (COMS) teamTriage and resolve hardware/software issues from both local and remote sitesParticipate in technical refreshes and manage inventory of system componentsEnsure daily maintenance and operational readiness of the ASW VOT systemBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma2+ years of relevant experienceU.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret ClearanceIAT Level 1 Certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA Security)Preferred QualificationsCompTIA Linux+ CertificationRHCSA/RHCE Red Hat CertificationsExperience with AN/SQQ-89A(v)15 systemsFamiliarity with distributed compute clusters for virtualized environments💡 Why Leidos?Because here, your work matters.
