Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.Scope of the PositionThe role will provide hands-on experience in troubleshooting IT issues, managing enterprise applications, and contributing to the development of IT solutions tailored to a cutting-edge solar wafer manufacturing environment. The intern will learn how to integrate IT systems with manufacturing operations, gain exposure to industry-specific applications, and develop technical and problem-solving skills in a high-tech, collaborative environment.Program Perks

- Currently enrolled in computer science or another degree in the IT field
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Relevant experience a plus
- The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of programming concepts, including familiarity with basic coding principles, problem-solving, and debugging. While advanced expertise is not required, they should be comfortable working with code, learning new tools or languages as needed, and contributing to technical tasks in collaboration with the team.
- Experience in analytics is a plus.
