The Material Handler V is expected to meet volume and accuracy expectations for controlled drug order receipt and fulfillment as it pertains to the correct NDC, lot and quantity for each item on the order. The Material Handler V is also expected to fully follow all applicable standard operating procedures, and to over-pack each order per the pertinent standard operating procedure. The Material Handler V is also responsible for following all quality control and inventory control SOPs related to quarantine release, cycle counting, physical inventory and other controlled substance-related functions as assigned. The Material Handler IV must satisfactorily complete all EVERSANA, DEA and FDA screening and background checks.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN THIS ROLE

- You will receive, putaway, pick, pack and ship controlled drug orders using a RF Scan device
- You will receive, manifest and load shipments.
- You will complete quality and inventory audits on all orders.
- You comply with all company provided Standard Operating Procedures
- You can operate a scanning device (we call them RF machines)
- You closely monitor stock control systems
- You process specific orders
- You pack orders as needed
- You make all orders are picked and managed accurately through digital scanner and our inventory system.
- This position will be required to adhere to all formal standard operating procedures that control all controlled drug processes.
- This position will be responsible for participation in problem solving, if errors or issues occur through daily processes. The MH5 is expected to work with Management to resolve problems promptly and to avoid any reoccurrence of the issues involved.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to be successful in this role.
- Work experience in a fast-paced, distribution or warehouse environment or stock room strongly preferred
- Previous work in picking/packing, sorting, loading/unloading, scanning, quality inspection, or various other warehouse functions is beneficial
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong verbal communication skills required
- Strong reading, addition, and subtraction skills needed to manage order specific documentation (but a calculator may be used)
- Good attendance required
- Follow instructions without deviation required

- Are you efficient at computer software and accessories in your daily work? This job requires regular use of scanners, computers. Don’t worry, we’ll train you.
- Critical skill for this role: You must have working knowledge of material handling issues. Again, we’ll train you once you’re on board.
- To perform this job successfully, the right team members must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Employees must be able to walk up to 10 miles each day throughout the course of a shift (steps may vary by shift and role).
- Employees may be required to lift items between 20 to 50 lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance (weight varies based on product).
- Employees must be able to bend, sit, stand, twist, stoop for long periods of time.
