  • Establishing team goals, provide coaching, and manage performance using KPIs.
  • Overseeing talent development, succession planning, and workforce engagement.
  • Ensuring technical capabilities meet reliability targets and business needs.
  • Managing performance reviews, compensation, discipline, onboarding, and communication.
  • Monitoring maintenance KPIs and ensure work process adherence from notification to execution.
  • Directing BASF and contract teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.
  • Promoting safe work practices and enforce safety rules.
  • Tracking performance-to-plan and share improvement opportunities.
  • Communicating maintenance status to key stakeholders.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance strategies in collaboration with Asset Management
  • Defining maintenance levels and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Managing external specialty service providers as needed
  • Sharing best practices, and hold the team accountable
  • Representing the company in professional maintenance organizations.
  • Participating in BASF regional/global teams to improve maintenance and reliability processes
If you...
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
  • 10+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or reliability within chemical/petrochemical or similar industries.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, including performance management.
  • Strong background in maintenance/reliability systems and processes.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across plants and lead diverse teams.
