Location: Culpeper/FredericksburgReports To: Sr. HR ManagerAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing environment at our Jamison and Fredericksburg locations. This role will play a critical part in supporting our workforce, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and workforce engagement.   • Serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders on HR-related matters, with a focus on employee relations and workplace culture.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for hourly production and salaried roles.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
  • Create, update, and roll out company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with employment law and business needs.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and facilitate orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a positive new-hire experience that reflects our collaborative and respectful culture.
  • Partner with operations leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs.
  • Administer HR processes, including leaves of absence, benefits, and attendance management.
  • Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean tools and a creative mindset to enhance HR processes and the employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
  • Willingness to travel between Fredericksburg and Culpeper, VA.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills that promote a respectful workplace.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Experience with UKG a plus.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment while staying sustainable in approach.
