Additionally, we are responsible for managing a set of strategic analytics programs for suppliers and customers, supporting the Strategic Sourcing organization with commercial and market intelligence solutions, and identifying and developing new strategic plans and growth levers for our business.The Consultant, Strategic Planning and Execution (Strategy & Business Analytics), is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, data analytics methods, industry knowledge and cross-functional collaboration. This role specializes in supporting the SOURCESM Generics Program within the Strategic Sourcing organization with a focus on developing and operationalizing commercial strategies and initiatives.Location - Targeting individuals local to Central Ohio, as this team operates in a hybrid work structure (Tuesday through Thursday in-office at our global headquarters in Dublin, Ohio with Monday's and Friday's being work-from-home / remote)Responsibilities
Serves as a data and business operations SME for the SOURCE Generics Program.
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with the organization’s objectives.
Partners with Revenue Management by generating SOURCE Generics Program deal models for prospective business and customer renewals.
Collaborates with Strategic Sourcing, Inventory Management, and Operations to ensure a flawless onboarding experience for new SOURCE Generics Program customers.
Support stakeholders by developing commercial data products in response to competitive market changes.
Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business. Identifies viable solutions to various technical problems and takes actions to resolve them.
Partners with Digital Marketing to provide SOURCE Generics Program data and analysis for new campaigns.
Works with Strategic Sourcing leadership teams on business development initiatives including the continued enhancement of existing service lines for optimized data analytics programs.
Leads commercial initiatives that will improve the SOURCESM Generics Program experience such as enhanced customer-facing reporting or new customer programs.
Contributes to the development of policies and procedures.
Conducts process demonstrations, quarterly business reviews, roadshows, and show & tells with various levels of business leaders and external partners.
Drives ‘art of possible’ sessions for stakeholders and creates a delivery roadmap with a bias towards speed.
Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
Qualifications
Ideally targeting individuals with 3+ years of total experience in a related field, preferred
Subject-matter expertise in self-service analytics tools (Alteryx, SQL), highly preferred
Data storytelling – experience presenting data stories to different audiences (technical and non-technical)
Experience developing presentations and presenting to senior management, preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills, required
Ability to extract and interpret data from multiple systems and sources, required
Excellent written and oral communication skills, a must have
Strong interpersonal skills; Client service oriented (both internal and external)
Project management and performance improvement experience or knowledge
Creative and persistent problem solver
Attention to detail, ability to multi‐task, and prioritize workload in a fast‐paced environment.
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau), Cloud Platforms (GCP, AWS), and scripting languages (Python or R), preferred but not required
Understanding of Data Modelling and Dimension modelling concepts, preferred
