- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Enrollment in a Degree/Certification program in Information Technology (or a related field)
- 1 to 2 years' experience working with personal computers in a technical/desktop support capacity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)
- Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- An outstanding work record, including attendance
- Completed coursework in Information Technology
- Previous experience troubleshooting/configuring hardware and software within a corporate computing environment
- Customer Service experience
- Respond to all end-user support requests via helpdesk call line, walk ups and on line submission.
- Log all incoming calls & user requests into help desk software application and update existing action items as priorities change within the team.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance to all technology within the Grand Rapids facilities.
- Provide level 1 computer support via proxy and on-site service to all locations as necessary.
- Develop and maintain Asset Management tracking
- Build and rebuild computers including the installation of software packages for P&C deployment.
- Assist with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware, including cabling, printers, conference room computers, video equipment, scanners, and two-way radios.
- Perform data analysis, metric tracking and project management, as needed.
- Develop and maintain work instructions for IT Knowledge Base.
- Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area and 5S zone.
- Complete projects within agreed time period. Provide regular updates to the information technology leadership regarding project, Help Desk, and computer troubleshooting progress.
- Consistently contribute to the success of the cross-functional SCRUM teams and co-worker's objects.
- Provide necessary, accurate, and timely feedback of all pertinent information to co-workers and management to enhance teamwork and communication initiatives.
- Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the necessary hours to perform the job.
- Organize and maintain efficiency of personal work area and department.
- Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures, including ISO, TS16949, and safety regulations.
- Accept instructions and duties in a positive manner. Perform any other activities as directed by the Information Technology leadership.
