- Accounting degree (minimum Bachelors), GAAP Accounting
- QBO certification, Dual currency (USD and CAD) experience
- Cost accounting expertise, Balance sheet reconciliations
- Account analysis,
- Experience with various Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Expense Reporting platforms.
- Accounts Payable management: Review and enter invoices, Record credit card transactions
- Process vendor payments, manage vendor communications, Maintain vendor records and tax compliance
- Reconcile vendor statements, Manage company AP email account
- Schedule and record recurring transactions/payments
- Maintain various schedules (prepaid insurance, accrued expenses, interest expenses, etc.)
- Perform full reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and review P&L details for accuracy
- Accounts Receivable tasks: Generate client statements, Review, and post AR invoicing
- Record cash receipts, Process monthly Commission Statements
- Record bank transfers and matching transactions in QBO
- Troubleshoot and correct QBO posting errors
- Record payroll journal entries for both US and Canada
- Maintain books for multiple companies in QBO
- Assist with accounting system enhancements and process improvements
