- Identifies and develops insurance prospects and appropriate markets
- Generate leads and pipeline opportunities through outbound prospecting via cold calling, drop-ins, email, LinkedIn, and networking
- Responds to referrals quickly and effectively
- Prequalifies insurance prospects for insurability and quality of risk
- Creates and maintains client or prospect list
- Designs benefits programs and recommends benefits strategies to clients
- Creates benefits proposals and makes sales presentations to prospective and existing clients on new and renewal business
- Develops, follows, and completes sales objectives
- Maintains key relationships with existing Employee Benefits clients
- Stay on top of trends, strategies and initiatives in the industry
- Minimum of 2 years of employee benefits in insurance experience.
- State insurance license (Property & Casualty).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with insurance software and CRM systems.
- Willingness to pursue professional designations (e.g., CISR, CIC).
- It is REQUIRED that you have at least two years of experience producing in the field of Employee Benefits.
