Find out how you can Make It Possible:Access Service Representative - Dental Medicine - Part-Time - NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist HospitalAccess Service Representatives are responsible for setting the stage for the patient experience, by professionally and efficiently providing patients and visitors with unparalleled customer service in keeping with NewYork-Presbyterian's goal of “We put Patients First.” You will oversee the registration process to ensure patients are registered courteously, confidentially, efficiently, and accurately and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others. You will interview patients or representatives for financial and demographic data and accurately input information into the Hospital's computer systems. In addition, you will perform a variety of clerical duties directly related to the registration, admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience.This is a part-time position and the schedule is Mon, Tues & Thurs 4:00PM - 9:30PM, Wed 12:00PM - 5:30PM, Sat 8:00 AM - 4:00PM. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brookyn Methodist Hospital.Preferred CriteriaExperience working in a complex clinic setting and/or patient access departmentRequired CriteriaHigh School Diploma or GEDA minimum of one year of registrar-related experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteSuperior customer service and excellent communication skillsAbility to work independentlyJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
