  • Lead quality engineering activities in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Partner with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded from concept through manufacturing and final testing.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, FMEA, and 5 Whys.
  • Oversee inspection and testing processes for components, subassemblies, and complete power systems, including performance, safety, and reliability testing.
  • Analyze quality metrics and implement process improvements to reduce defects, scrap, and warranty claims.
  • Lead supplier quality initiatives, including audits, performance monitoring, and supplier development.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as control plans, PPAPs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) projects by developing quality plans, validation protocols, and first article inspections.
  • Mentor and train junior quality engineers and technicians in quality tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Represent the quality function during customer meetings, audits, and technical reviews.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical discipline).
  • 5+ years of quality engineering experience in power systems, heavy electrical equipment, or related manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, APQP, and PPAP requirements.
  • Experience with electrical testing, reliability engineering, and safety compliance for power systems.
  • Proficient in quality tools such as SPC, MSA, GD&T, and statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
