Cardinal Roofing, a Northpoint Roofing Systems company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Manager to join our in-office team in Pelham, AL. In this key role, you'll support our operations by managing bookkeeping, permits, scheduling, and customer service.This is a temporary position with the strong potential to become a full-time permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This position is located in Pelham, AL but is being recruited by our CORPORATE OFFICE in Woodstock, GA. Please do not call this location with questions or to apply.
Experience working in construction/home services office is preferred, roofing specifically.What You’ll Do:💰 Accounting & BookkeepingHandle daily bookkeeping, budgeting, invoicing, payroll, and financial recordkeepingAssist with month-end close and financial reportingUtilize QuickBooks for all accounting functions🗂️ Office OperationsOversee general office tasks such as filing, scheduling, and communicationMaintain supplies and office equipment📑 Permit CoordinationManage and track all roofing permit applications and documentationEnsure timely and accurate submissions📞 Customer ServiceRespond to customer inquiries and service requestsDeliver a professional and helpful experience throughout the customer journey🛠️ Team CoordinationCommunicate with project managers and field staff to support schedules and logisticsKeep operations on track and aligned✅ Compliance & AdministrationEnsure compliance with safety standards, permitting regulations, and internal policiesWhat We’re Looking For:Education & Experience:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office managementExperience in the construction or roofing industry is a plusSkills & Tools:Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong multitasking and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationExperience with CRM or project management tools is a bonusPreferred Attributes:Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsIndependent but collaborativeDedicated to delivering excellent customer serviceRoofing knowledge is helpful, but not requiredWhy Join Cardinal Roofing?
