Aquatic Pool Maintenance AssociateSUPERVISOR:
Facility Specialist LeadEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.QUALIFICATIONS:
No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s license.HOURS:
20-30 hours per week
Weekday and weekend work schedules available
7:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday
Shift to be completed anytime between close of business and open for business next day depending on facility schedule and departmental needs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures pools, water features decks, concessions areas, walks, stairways, slides, pump house and all indoor maintenance areas are clean and safe.
- Vacuum indoor and outdoor pool.
- Test chlorine and ph levels at indoor and outdoor pool.
- Assists Recreation Facility Maintenance Manager with season opening/closing tasks.
- Become familiar with methods, materials, tools and equipment used in facility and pool maintenance work.
- Move materials and supplies within the facility as directed.
- Performs the job safely and in compliance with Park District policies, procedures, work and safety rules.
- Supports and exhibits the established organizational values of respect, communication, integrity, innovation, recognition, continuous learning, fun, empowerment and people.
- Work as scheduled.
- Present positive image and attitude to public and staff and willingness to assist as needed.
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.RATE OF PAY: $14.00 - $18.00 an hourBENEFITS: Seasonal Staff have the choice of an Individual Outdoor Pool Membership OR Individual Health & Fitness Membership (which includes use of the indoor pool) during the employment period.QualificationsPHYSICAL
