Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Commodity Management Teams (CMTs) to efficiently manage supplier tariff impacts.
- Lead Tariff Committee Meetings
- Manage standardized workflow for tariff risks; schedule and establish Committee meeting agendas
- Document, coordinate communication, archive for Committee Records of Decision to the broader Procurement organization
- Plan and execute other tariff-related mitigation projects
- Support processes to ensure compliance to the USMCA Agreement.
- Manager standardized workflow for USMCA analysis under forward sourcing processes and the USMCA Escalation Process.
- Support development and execution of key source localization projects to improve compliance to Regional Value Content (RVC) requirements.
- Provide support to Corporate Trade Compliance and the USMCA Modeling Sub-Committee.
- Develop detailed project plans and perform critical path analysis using Microsoft Project, as needed
- Lead cross-functional resolution of a wide range of complex problems in innovative ways, including issues where precedent may not exist
- Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
- Coordinate cross-functional risk and issues investigations and mitigation
- May instruct, coach or provide informal guidance to colleagues with less experience
- Present project status to Senior Procurement management and Executive level audiences
- Identifies needed resources for cross functional project teams
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience
- Master’s degree
- At least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience
- At least 8 years of purchasing/procurement experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience
