Job Description:Position OverviewInternational’s Procurement team is seeking a dedicated Project Manager-Tariff and Trade to join our Lisle, IL office.This highly visible role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical tariff and trade operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging yet supportive setting, driving compliance, efficiency, and process improvements while partnering across the organization.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Commodity Management Teams (CMTs) to efficiently manage supplier tariff impacts.
  • Lead Tariff Committee Meetings
  • Manage standardized workflow for tariff risks; schedule and establish Committee meeting agendas
  • Document, coordinate communication, archive for Committee Records of Decision to the broader Procurement organization
  • Plan and execute other tariff-related mitigation projects
  • Support processes to ensure compliance to the USMCA Agreement.
  • Manager standardized workflow for USMCA analysis under forward sourcing processes and the USMCA Escalation Process.
  • Support development and execution of key source localization projects to improve compliance to Regional Value Content (RVC) requirements.
  • Provide support to Corporate Trade Compliance and the USMCA Modeling Sub-Committee.
  • Develop detailed project plans and perform critical path analysis using Microsoft Project, as needed
  • Lead cross-functional resolution of a wide range of complex problems in innovative ways, including issues where precedent may not exist
  • Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
  • Coordinate cross-functional risk and issues investigations and mitigation
  • May instruct, coach or provide informal guidance to colleagues with less experience
  • Present project status to Senior Procurement management and Executive level audiences
  • Identifies needed resources for cross functional project teams
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
  • Master’s degree
  • At least 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
  • At least 8 years of purchasing/procurement experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
