Boston Speech is currently looking for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in providing therapy to individuals, leaving a lasting impact on the way they learn and develop. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students, while gaining hands-on experience with an empowering team. This is a full time contract position from now until the end of the school year, with a rate of $47 per hour. This position is school based in Dedham, MA. You will be assisting elementary and middle school level children.Responsibilities
Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing patients
Implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
Monitor and document patient progress
Assist in educating patients and their families on communication strategies
Requirements
State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team setting
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
