they need to get and stay healthy!Key job responsibilities

represents potential duties that may be required:● Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinical
and laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and home
remedies)
● Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential
interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to the
prescriber as appropriateOperate and Troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems
- Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems to
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automation
- Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations and
- Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substance
requirementsProvide Clinical Support:
- Answer clinical questions and provide guidance
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Document all healthcare team communications
- Investigate and resolve medication errors
- Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws
- Maintain required regulatory documentation
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Support pharmacy operations across departments as needed
- Physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy License in state of employment (additional licenses may be
- Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems
- Exemplary interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations
- Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer service
