This Department is responsible for selling Motorola Solutions public safety applications to city, county and state agencies within Ohio.Job DescriptionThe Sr. Account Manager is responsible for coordinating all facets of Motorola Solutions’ business relationship within their assigned account base including demand generation, sales, strategic account planning and overall client relationship management.The Sr Account Manager is responsible, but not limited to the following:Responsible for sales, strategic account planning and overall relationship management for a number of target customers in OhioDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for each “target” and “geographic” account covering the full portfolio of Motorola products and services (core and expansion technologies)Act as a trusted advisor to influence customer’s technology platform decisions and develop preference and loyalty for Motorola SolutionsProactively develop large project opportunities encompassing a wide range of products and servicesDevelop strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within and outside of public safety; Sheriff, Mayor, CIO, Police Chief, Fire Chief and other officials in order to understand and influence technology and funding prioritiesSpecific Knowledge/Skills:Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 6+ years of sales experienceSeeking previous outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations preferredStrong relationship development and management skillsExperience utilizing strategic account management practicesAbility to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to customersAbility to develop and maintain relationships with a C-Level executivesAbility to establish oneself as a trusted advisorAbility to lead a diverse group in addressing customer requirementsHigh tech solutions sales experience a plusKnowledge of industry trends and best practices a plusHighly motivated and results orientedExperience utilizing channel partners to address customer requirementsLocation & Travel Requirements:Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within OhioPreferred candidates will live in OhioTarget Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 USD based on experienceConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
