As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide prompt, accurate, and friendly assistance to customers regarding their insurance needs. You will handle inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, billing questions, and payments. You will also be responsible for answering phones and ensuring a positive customer experience.Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email and in-person.
- Provide accurate information about insurance products, eligibility, and coverage details.
- Process policy changes, transfers, and claim submissions efficiently.
- Handle billing questions, take payments, and clarify billing statements.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with agency team members to resolve customer issues.
- Obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty insurance license as required.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in insurance or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license (training/support provided).
- Proficient with computers and basic office software.
