Travel Nursing Job Details
  • Location: Cleveland, OH 44119 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
  • Unit: 5th Floor Orthopedics – Med/Surg Telemetry
  • Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Start Date: September 15, 2025
  • End Date: January 19, 2026
  • Contract Duration: 18 weeks
  • Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 – $1,910
Registered Nurse Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required for travel nursing jobs
  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license (required for Ohio nursing jobs)
  • Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
  • Recent Epic EMR charting experience (within last 6 months)
  • One recent supervisory reference in Med/Surg Telemetry specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN)
  • Ability to work at least every other holiday during contract
  • Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in unit-based assessments and required orientation modules
  • Float to similar nursing units as needed
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including badging and fingerprinting prior to start date
