We are looking for an Information Technology Intern who will focus on managing our corporate infrastructure, remote office assistance and assisting our onsite users with IT needs. Our Intern will quickly learn our operations and will ultimately become a contributing member of our team. This position requires strong communication, self-driven/motivation, and a dedication to excellence.We are looking for Interns that are interested in technology and working with the federal government.Work location: Reston, VA (Reston Town Center)
This role is onsite, candidate must be local for the duration of the internship.
Internship dates: June 3rd - August 2ndOur internships are designed to provide:

- At the conclusion of your internship, you will present a "value driven" idea for the organization to consider adopting into normal business practice.
- Work on developing an innovative IT chatbot for Teams to streamline internal support processes and enhance user experience through automation
- Contribute to enhancing data security measures by participating in the planning and implementation of sensitivity labels across Azure and Office 365 platforms
- Collaborate on disaster recovery and business continuity planning initiatives
- Assist in the documentation and maintenance of technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant materials
- Measure improvement in internal user satisfaction through feedback mechanisms
- Successfully execute and finalize disaster recovery plan and sensitivity label projects
- Optimize internal ticket resolution time through efficient problem-solving methods
- Track cost-saving benefits derived from the implementation of a centralized and user-friendly asset tracking system
- US Citizen
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Junior, Senior, or master's level in good academic standing
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Active Directory and SharePoint foundation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Competency in administering desktop operating systems Windows and Mac
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
